Billing Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Billing Terms and Conditions govern the payment obligations and processes between Nuvo Living LLC and the customer. By accessing our services and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Payment Terms

Pricing. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, or charges unless otherwise specified.

Payment methods. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

Payment due. Payment is due in full at the time the order is placed. Because most products are built to order, production does not begin until payment is received.

3. Invoicing

An order confirmation and receipt are issued electronically to the email address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure billing information is accurate and current.

4. Disputed Charges

If you dispute any charge, notify us in writing within 15 days of the charge date at support@nuvo-living.com, including the order number and details of the dispute. We investigate and resolve billing disputes promptly.

If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can almost always resolve the issue faster directly.

5. Refunds and Credits

Refunds and credits are provided in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, posting may take additional time.

6. Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, including sales tax and any similar charges. If you are tax-exempt, provide a valid exemption certificate at the time of purchase.

7. Billing Errors

If we discover a billing error we will correct it promptly. If you have been overcharged, we will refund or credit the amount. If you have been undercharged, we will contact you regarding the outstanding amount before taking any action.

8. Payment Security

Payments are processed through Shopify. We do not store credit card information on our servers. Transactions are secured using SSL encryption, and our payment processors are PCI DSS compliant.

9. Changes to Billing Terms

We may modify these Billing Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to nuvo-living.com.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to these Terms. Our maximum liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable law, including California law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

13. Entire Agreement

These Billing Terms and Conditions, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nuvo Living LLC regarding billing matters.
