Estimated shipping time

Each piece is handcrafted to order. Allow 2–4 weeks for production, followed by 1–2 weeks of curbside LTL freight transit — approximately 3–6 weeks total. A carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery appointment.

What is your Return Policy?

Most Nuvō Living pieces are handcrafted to order. You can cancel free within 48 hours of placing your order — any reason, full refund, no fee. We hold every made-to-order piece a full 48 hours before releasing it to the manufacturer, so that window is real. After 48 hours the order is in production and cannot be cancelled, changed, or returned.

Freight delivery & damage claims

Inspect your shipment before signing for delivery. Report any damage, shortage, or wrong item within 5 business days of delivery, with photographs, to support@nuvo-living.com. Freight carriers and our manufacturer close damage claims on a strict 48-hour clock, which is why this window matters.

Manufacturer warranty

Every piece carries the manufacturer's full warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Freight damage is handled separately under the claim window above — if the carrier damages your order, resolving it is our responsibility, not yours.

Stock items

Non made-to-order items may be returned within 30 days of delivery with prior authorization. A manufacturer restocking fee may apply — typically 15% of the item price, or 40% if the item can no longer be sold as new. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Product Description

The Videl outdoor stainless refrigerator is built for permanent exterior installation — sealed against humidity, rated for the temperature swings a covered patio actually sees, and finished in stainless that holds up to sun, salt air, and hose-down cleaning.

Indoor refrigerators fail outdoors. The compressors are not rated for ambient heat, the door seals fail in humidity, and the cabinets corrode within a season. This one is engineered for the environment it lives in, which is the difference between an appliance that lasts and one you replace.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a regular refrigerator outdoors instead?
Not reliably. Indoor units are not rated for outdoor ambient temperatures, their seals degrade in humidity, and the cabinets corrode. Outdoor-rated refrigeration costs more up front and lasts.

What electrical does it need?
A dedicated GFCI-protected circuit run to the island by a licensed electrician. Plan it before the island is set — retrofitting a circuit into finished masonry is expensive.

How does this compare to the Compact Fridge?
The Compact Fridge is the smaller 4.5 cu ft unit suited to drinks and condiments in a shorter island run. This is the larger stainless unit for islands doing real service.

Does it need to be covered in winter?
It is built for continuous outdoor exposure. In freezing climates, follow the manufacturer's winterization guidance.
